“He hit me up on Instagram, he DM’ed me, not even on signing, just letting me know that he sees me, telling me to keep going and putting me on game,” he explained.

From there, they continued to check on each other and their relationship grew into the partnership it is today. While working alongside Blac Youngsta, Lil Migo reveals his music knowledge is expanding as he is learning to be patient and strategic. Aligning with Blac Youngsta also introduced him to Yo Gotti, which he feels is an honor as he grew up listening to the Memphis legend, his family was from the same area and created a dream of being able to be next to him today.

Following his signing, Lil Migo released King of the Trap, an album that highlights how he felt about his status in the streets, however, he knows that the streets are not a place for him to continue to own, instead opting for music. Earlier in his career, Lil Migo stated he would straddle the fence of music and the streets, but his desire to be as big as possible in music, along with seeing the benefits of the work tilted music in favor and more time went into developing his craft.

“It was hard to leave, when I started to take off in rap it was shocking to me. I didn’t just believe whatwas going on, but once I soaked it in I knew it was time to take it serious,” Lil Migo stated.

With his new mixtape, King of The Trap 2, Lil Migo aims to let the music speak for himself and is proud that he grows every time he releases new music. The new music will serve as a statement of who he is while also created to motivate his listeners. With this mixtape, Lil Migo will showcase his diversity with offerings for female fans, those who are ready to make moves to boss up, and more.
